This module will introduce you to the world of Artificial Intelligence, revealing its key concepts and its rapid evolution. You will understand the transformative impact that AI is already having on people management and, more specifically, on the entire Learning and Development cycle.
By the end of this module, you will have:

Alfredo castro
A lifelong learner, he is a professor, mentor, facilitator, coach, writer, consultant, and speaker. His motto is: “Education is the most powerful resource which you can use to change the world” (Nelson Mandela).
With a rapidly rising career, from consultant to international managing partner for 17 years, 1995 marked a crucial turning point for Alfredo. After transitioning from the corporate world, he embarked on a new chapter as a consultant, coach, and mentor, leading MOT’s Training and Development program. Immersed in academia, he became a prestigious professor at FIA Business School, where he dedicated more than two decades to shaping the minds of students from Brazil and Europe.

This module will cover the use of generative AI tools in designing effective, user-centered learning experiences, both in virtual and face-to-face contexts. It will explore examples applied to corporate and adult learning, identifying learning objectives, expected outcomes, and the type of intervention that maximizes the impact on job transfer. An educational psychologist (PUCP), MBA (UPC), Master in Talent Management (EOI), and PhD candidate in Humanities (UDEP), I have combined educational technology with a humanistic perspective to design learning models that address the ethical, strategic, and cultural challenges of the contemporary world. My background also includes studies in philosophy (PUCP) and theology (UARM), which foster a critical and reflective view of the meaning of learning and human development.
I have led educational innovation processes in multinational companies and universities, integrating knowledge management, talent development, and academic quality with emerging methodologies.

Vice President of Learning Enterprise at Arizona State University (ASU)
He has a comprehensive understanding of executive and continuing education across various industries and emerging technology platforms. He has experience developing initiatives for the private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. He has also served as a member and past president of the board of directors of UNICON (International Consortium for University-based Executive Education). He has also served as a representative for UPCEA (University Professionals for Continuing Education Association) and the Latin American and European Continuing Education Network (RECLA).
Before joining ASU, he was Associate Chancellor of the University of Chicago and Vice Chancellor for Executive and Continuing Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
He is the co-founder of two startups that provide consulting services and applied learning solutions for the public and private sectors.
